Help Build a Phone Mountain!!
Do you have a drawer full of old mobile phones? You can put your old phone to work to make a real difference.
Good Rock has been given permission to work in a unique way to build a bakery which the disabled young people will run. They will have independent accommodation and be able to control their own future. Its hard to put into words the difference this will make.
Maureen Abson, fundraiser, launching this collection said, “we’ve set our sights high, we need to collect 25,000 old mobile phones – but it would be brilliant to fund this new project through its first three years purely from the phones that we no longer use!”
At
the Good Rock UK office, Bess Popplewell is ready to be inundated
with phones! All we need is the phone and the battery, it doesn’t
matter what phone is like; it can be a brick that no teenager would
be seen out with or a top of the range phone that has been updated as
part of your contract!
